Bare Metal Access Management Overview

AAC infrastructure is divided into two services: Plexus and Bare Metal. This documentation pertains solely to the Bare Metal environment. Access to Bare Metal systems is regulated via an internal AMD-managed application. Individuals seeking access must be referred by a designated technical representative from AMD, who serves as the official sponsor and point of contact.

Authentication for Bare Metal is enforced exclusively through SSH keys. While the sign-up form collects an email and password, these credentials are valid only for Plexus Cloud services. The technical representative must submit a valid SSH public key on behalf of the user during the onboarding process.
