How to Create Alert

An alert can be created to receive an email when workload is failed or finished etc

Login To AAC

Login to https://aac.amd.com/.

Alerts

Navigate to Alerts page.

Create Alert

Click New Alert button. Create Alert page opens.

Check the Is enabled check box. User receives alert only if the alert is enabled.

Give a name to your alert.

Select the type as workload or Budget. A workload trigger can be created to notify a user when the workload has failed or finished etc. A budget trigger can be created to notify the users when the team/individual budget is exceeding the limit which can be provided in trigger.

Note: Here workload is selected as type

Click Add trigger. The below popup opens to add trigger condition.

Name the trigger. Select one of the conditions as required.

Note: Here, Workload failed condition is selected

Select the scope as Owned workloads. Click Save. User receives an alert email whenever any of the workloads launched by that user fails.

Click Add Action button.

Name the Action. Enter the email address with which the user is registered. Email address is required to receive alerts. Click Save

Click Save

A new alert will be created.

The alert created in this document is used to notify the user when the workload fails.
